Ok so at first, I will admit, I was like “Foreigner?….eh, not so much.” But after tonight I am changed. That concert was off the hook! My ears are still ringing! The VMWorld 2009 party was AWESOME! I landed myself close to the stage but not too close since I had the 70-200mm f/2.8 lens mounted on the D300. I got several shots of the cover band for Foreigner called “Elastic Sky”. The band consists of VMWare employees which I think freakin rocks! Enjoy!
I had the opportunity to swing by Union Square to catch another installment of Jewels in the Square. This time it was a local rock band out of the East Bay called Mad Karma. They played good cover songs and few of their own tunes. Here are the photos!

Awesome free music on Wednesdays and Sundays in Union Square, San Francisco. This afternoon I had the pleasure of experiencing two amazing groups: ArtOfficial out of Miami, Florida and the very popular local group Bayonics. We also had the pleasure of a visit by artist Approach. I came away with a new appreciation for the hip hop/funk/salsa combination and a nice collection of images.
