But I’m happy to say that I am on the fast track to recovery and the light is starting to build again. All it takes is just picking up the camera to rekindle that which was lost for a while. I am eager to start up shoots again and truly explore my creativity.  Below is a photo I took just this morning. I bought this Fossil watch and absolutely love the intricate detail in the mechanisms. The watch is driven by kinetic energy so it has no battery. As I move, the gears wind. It’s a beautiful piece.

I landed myself close to the stage but not too close since I had the 70-200mm f/2.8 lens mounted on the D300. I got several shots of the cover band for Foreigner called “Elastic Sky”. The band consists of VMWare employees which I think freakin rocks! Enjoy!

We also had the pleasure of a visit by artist Approach. I came away with a new appreciation for the hip hop/funk/salsa combination and a nice collection of images.
