There Be Dragons – Slow Shutter Speed
I’ve been experimenting in the studio more when I discover that I haven’t taken my photo for the day. In this case my lovely wife had the idea of photographing this neat little light up glass dragon image. I decided that just shooting the glass wasn’t enough. The image sits on small pedestal that goes between yellow and red so I decided to prop the camera up so that I use a longer shutter speed with a more narrow aperture to control the spill of light. The result was the following and I think it looks pretty awesome!
Multiple Exposure – A Daily Photo for August 18th, 2009
I was checking out one of the episodes over at http://www.dtowntv.com where they mentioned to ability to take multiple exposures in the camera. It sounded pretty cool so I gave it a shot and came up with the photo below. It definitely opens up some interesting creative opportunities. I’ll have to experiment more.
